Paddling a Surf SkiThe Coolangatta Gold Ironman Event The Ironman event (now known as the Oceanman) is one of the several disciplines of surf lifesaving sports. Not to be confemployed with the Ironman triathlon, this Ironman even though nonetheless being an endurance race includes the three main disciplines in surf lifesaving namely running, swimming, and board paddling. Multiple surf lifesaving clubs organize events exactly where theres an ironman race, but the one which is extremely worth winning is the well-known Coolangatta Gold race. The Coolangatta Gold is the original Ironman endurance event.
